Yoga at 4 Elements

With so many options in Lethbridge for Yoga, why should you choose 4 Elements? Our instructors really believe in “every body being a yoga body” our cozy and intimate classes provide a non-intimidating atmosphere avoiding a large class setting. Our studio is conveniently located on the ground floor for easy access to those with mobility issues. We truly want to help people be healthier by experiencing low-impact exercise and the benefit of stretching muscle and connective tissue. We use lots of supports, blankets, blocks, and pillows to ensure your comfort. If you’re ready to begin your Yoga journey, there’s no better place to start!

I tried two of their yoga classes, Restorative and Vinyasa, and they were amazing! I love that it is a judgement-free zone, anyone at any level of yoga experience is welcome, and because the class sizes are small you get extra support from the instructor if you would like it. The Vinyasa class was more challenging but modifications to poses were provided and it was a great workout. The Restorative class was AWESOME, it helped with my anxiety and left me feeling serene. The instructors were both open to feedback and I really appreciated their inclusiveness for all abilities, not just with yoga experience but for people with disabilities too. As someone with a physical disability it was great to be part of the conversation about what worked best for my body that day and not just to be left lying on my mat if there was something I couldn’t do. Thank you to all the instructors I have had so far, it has been wonderful! – Kylie B, Google Review

Classes We Offer:
  • Flow & Yin Yoga
A combination of Vinyasa and Yin Yoga creates movement, circulation, deep relaxation, and soft tissue release. Holding Yin yoga poses at the end of class targets ligaments, tendons, muscles, fascia, and joints to stretch, lengthen, and recover. This class is beginner friendly, but all levels are welcome!
  • Vinyasa Yoga
Slow and controlled yoga poses that use movement timed with the breath. This class focuses on comfortable stretches and stress. Vinyasa (also known as Flow) yoga has benefits in weight loss, improved organ health, and reduced anxiety levels. All levels are welcome to participate!
  • Hatha
A great introduction to yoga. Hatha is a smooth yoga style from one position (asana) to the next. Hatha improves flexibility, strength, body pain, and lowers stress levels. This pace of practice is somewhat slow and static with a focus on breathing techniques. This class is beginner friendly, but all levels are welcome!
  • Lunchtime Restore
Restorative yoga is a style of yoga that encourages physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Appropriate for all levels, restorative yoga is practiced slowly, focusing on long holds, stillness, and deep breathing while listening to smooth and calming music.
  • Prenatal Gentle Hatha
Focus on building full body stability, strength, relaxation and reduce stress using gentle, controlled movements guided by body intuition and breath. This class takes more time in each position and explores many modifications to help support the body throughout pregnancy, birth, and recovery. Suitable for all stages of pregnancy.
  • Chill/Flow
Great for after work, in the evening, or any other moment when you need a reset! The perfect blend of fun movement to release daily stress and enough chilling to prepare for a great night’s sleep.
  • Hip & Heart Opener
A fun Hatha class that focuses on creating space in the hips and chest to improve posture and reduce pain in the legs, glutes, neck and back.
