Multidisciplinary Health

Multidisciplinary Approach

Complimentary services have always been a part of our treatment protocol as massage therapists. Clients come to us searching for a solution to pain, improved movement, or symptomatic relief of some kind. We turn to allied health services when a client may benefit from more than just massage because, as massage therapists, we cannot diagnose. Physiotherapy, Chiropractor, Yoga, Acupuncture, and Internal Health are common therapies that complement massage. They can also do more for a client than just massage alone and amount to better overall health. Clients have asked us for a while for services that were more than massage-focused. We’ve adapted our clinic to meet that need by looking for those complementary therapies and finding wonderful practitioners who treat their patients the way we treat ours.

At 4 Elements we are moving forward in the direction of multidisciplinary practice because we have seen over many years the countless client benefits there have been when working alongside these other health modalities.

Benefits

In building these practitioner relationships, we can build trust and additional support in a client’s health journey. Multiple perspectives, continuing care, an expedited referral process, and handling paperwork under one roof not only keeps the convenience for clients but also provides a whole body health experience that many of us seek and need nowadays. Our lives are constantly stressful. They can be full of schedules, poor sleep, poor posture, poor eating, and lack of movement. A multidisciplinary practice can bring a balance to these issues and ensure your overall health and wellness needs are met.

Services We Offer

Aside from Massage Therapy, we currently offer Physiotherapy, Yoga, Reflexology, and Nutrition Counselling. Plans to add Acupuncture and other services are in the works for the future as we continue to expand.
